Do you have a hard time watching Seinfeld with their laugh track?

No.

What about Cheers?

Frasier is my favorite sitcom character of all time.

quote:

Why is it that The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men always get the "i don't watch laugh track shite" excuse?

Because the laugh track is like Cousin Eddie showing up at Christmas.

quote:

It's not a big deal.

Opinions vary.

quote:

Dont' try to sound snobby and say your too cool for a laugh track, b/c just about every comedy sitcom has them.

Not every sitcom has an obnoxious one like Lorre (and The Ranch isn't Lorre - I originally assumed it was, solely because of the laugh track.)

And, South Park and Archer are 2 of the funniest shows around. Zero laugh tracks. (Just FTR.)

All i'm saying is don't make some stupid excuse like you don't like the laugh track of a particular show. There tons of sitcoms with a laugh track, like Frasier.
To say one laugh track is worse than another is ridiculous. you just don't notice it as much on a show like Seinfeld or Cheers or Frasier b/c you like the show. You probably had to think if those shows had laugh tracks or not, probably googled it huh.

When you don't like a show, it's easy to find reasons why you don't like it, like complaining about a laugh track.

Seinfeld, arguably the greatest sitcom of all time had a laugh track, as did That 70’s Show, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Married With Children. It wasn’t until Malcom and the Middle and the 2000’s NBC comedies like The Office, Community, and Scrubs that comedies without laugh tracks started to become more popular and more common.
