What this team did after the losses to Troy and Mississippi State does not negate the losses to Troy and Mississippi State

No but the turnaround after those losses by the WHOLE team are a good sign and it could have gone the other way.

Those are horrible losses no matter what happens after them

They weren't good. I don't know if they are really HORRIBLE. Was Stanford (a team ranked ahead of LSU) losing to San Diego State horrible? Don't ever hear anyone knocking Stanford for that loss. Hell, Clemson lost to a team with a losing record (a team LSU beat) and they are still the #1 ranked team in the country.

And we are ranked 17th right now. We have no more of a "chance to finish in the top 10" this year than we did several times over the last 5 years

Showing off your college football brilliance again I see.

Since you don't realize it, in case you keep checking the poll that has LSU as 17, don't freak out when it doesn't ever change. That poll has ended for the year/season. LSU is 14th in the coaches poll and has a chance to finish in the top 10. So yeah, LSU HAS "more of a "chance to finish in the top 10" this year than we did several times over the last 5 years".

Yeah. It was.

And that was a terrible loss too. You know they didn't lose any other games, right?

Sure, and I've given Orgeron and the team credit for fighting through the adversity. It doesn't change the fact that those are bad losses.

They were horrible. Both losses were historically bad. Why would anyone give a shite about Stanford losing to San Diego State? And, if LSU has only lost the Troy game we would be in the playoffs right now, just like Clemson is.

We were ranked 14th going into the bowl game in 2013 and 9th going into the bowl game in 2012, so your statement is incorrect.
