Yes. The elder Bush did it to stop a long drawn out investigation. I imagine the media would implode if Trump did what Bush did.

In fact if Trump did the exact same thing the Elder Bush did (Totally Legal), I honestly believe Keith Olberman would have a scanners style stroke live on TV.
