Fathers normally have to stand ground as they know how males at that age function more than mothers do. If I didn't know better, it's almost as if some mothers are trying to get their daughters dicked. Then again, it's not them having to financially support someone's bastard, and the mother isn't thinking about how her daughter's life is going to be permanently changed if she brings home a little souvenir from the date that pops out nine months later.

What one can do is offer a reasonable compromise. One of the posters suggested that since neither kid is driving, the mothers take them and stay in the theater. Better yet, perhaps a small group of kids. Gradually let freedom out as the girl ages and shows she can handle the responsibility that goes with that freedom. I would also tie those privileges to grades as well as behavior around the house. Whatever you do, start slow, go gradually, and supervise. Let them have a chance to learn how to interact appropriately with the opposite sex, but keep behavioral boundaries/expectations and for God's sake, don't let those horny bastards have a chance to sneak off to themselves, unless you want to become an early grandparent.
