You take Patterson it's a no brainer.
Assuming he's recovered from injury and has a decent year, he might only play one year and head to NFL since he will be immediately eligible if NCAA gives waivers to all Ole Miss players.
Then Brennan has more time to develop.

Of course you take Patterson. However, nothing at all points to Ole miss players being eligible to transfer without missing a year....
