It’s pretty simple really. He spoke positively about America for the first time in eight years. Your fricking Pearl Jam handle is lame as hell, btw.

So you think trashing at least half of Americans and reversing every bit of progress that people voted for over 8 years is speaking positively about America? Please explain further. I'm not trying to be hostile I just want to know.

My handle has nothing to do with Pearl Jam nor Alabama. It is more of a Zen thing about everything coming and going in Cycles

Pearl Jam reference would be “Evenflow”.

The Midwest and rust belt obviously felt that the last 8 years were not “progress” and voted those policies out.

I find your authoritarian bit to be ridiculous. Trump is certainly no more authoritarian than Hillary would have been. I’m not saying he’s a freedom and liberty president, but there’s absolutely zero chance he’s more authoritarian than Clinton.

Need clarifications.

You said he "trashed" AT LEAST half of Americans. Let's start there. Explain this assertion.

Next, explain how you figure that your following claim is remotely true? The claim that he is reversing "progress" that half of the people voted for. The other way to look at that is that people who voted for Obama, especially in the Midwest, disavowed their vote after 8 years of a "progress" that did not align with the "progress" that they had in mind in 08.

Um. Help me out here. Who are you talking about? Because in the campaign I watched one of the parties went out of its way to run a white people suck campaign. And if my demographic map is correct..........

Southern conservatives didn’t vote or support the garbage that Obama passed.

Here's were we're going to disagree. Your progress is my SJW-going amok. The Iran Deal was NOT progress. Drag queens in my kid's elementary school bathroom is NOT progress. The Paris Climate Change accord almost entirely at America's expense is NOT progress.

But also, as a technical point, nearly everyone who voted for Barack Obama either wanted to vote for the first black President, or felt they had to prove they weren't prejudice by voting for the first black President. Only a handful of SJW wack-jobs actually voted for him solely on his political platform.

What 'progress' was made other than letting gays get married?
