I don’t understand why people ignore Clemson’s terrible loss. They should not be #1 having lost to a team outside the top 25.

Injuries are part of the game and not a good excuse. That’s like saying Alabama would have its full roster of LBs for the playoff run therefore discounting the loss to AU. Every school in the country can play some variation of the “this person was hurt” argument.
