You can buy MP3 files from Amazon.
For a free option, check out Freegal. The EBR library system lets you download 7 free tracks per week, and you can add tracks over that limit to a wishlist, which makes it easy to download a whole album over a couple of weeks or more. You're not going to find everything there, but I just downloaded the new Pink album, for example, and the tracks are 256 Kbps LAME-encoded MP3.

Ok thanks, wonder if Acension library has something similar? Will look into that more. I was looking earlier and it looks as if Napster is still around.
