Will Wade was the result of a national search that paid no mind to the old network surrounding the program. We got a promising coach with an impressive resume.

Orgeron was the promotion of an interim coach due in large part to his connection to LSU/Louisiana. His resume was mediocre at best.

The two hires were polar opposite strategies, whether Orgeron works our or not.
