I feel like maybe the culture at LSU games has changed a little bit since our championship year a decade and half ago though... I've only been to one game (Arkansas vs LSU 2015), but I just don't think the crowd has the same passion they used to.

there's been a lull for sure.
I liken it to Atlanta Braves fans around the mid 2000's, they had come off such an amazing extended run where they had been super competitive for a very long time and things just kind of got stale. Couldn't sell out even playoff games. LSU fans have been used to being in the NC hunt regularly and we havent been for awhile so people have gotten somewhat apathetic for the moment, at least compared to how it used to be. I don't think it's a permanent thing but the product is stale at the moment and the Troy game has kind of spoiled the season. Combine that with how good the home experience is now (which everyone is dealing with) and you've got yourself a recipe for a lot of ho hum crowds.

Nothing like it was in the 70s and 80s.
