Think it will depend on the clinic. I would call tomorrow and ask.
My husband had to have epidural injections for a back injury last year. I can remember his pre-procedure paperwork specifically saying that he had to have transportation home arranged (that was NOT a taxi or Uber) or they would not do the procedure.

They let me take an Uber when I got snipped. I guess it's a clinic by clinic policy

Ftr I'd probably lie and say I wasn't getting an uber and then just get one. Wtf are they going to do?
