She looks immature. Not in a disparaging way, she just looks like a girl who could be heading off for college this year.

23 year olds a few generations ago had already fought in a war and were on their second kid while putting in shifts at the mill. Nowadays they're still planning vacation time around returning to spring parties for their favorite fraternity. Obviously it varies, but I'm sure it's not at all uncommon for there to be basically no maturity gap between a 17 and 23 year old. Factor in getting married at 20 and spending 22 out of 23 years within 100 miles of your hometown, and I can see why you're still acting like you're in high school.
