The funny thing is everyone here is pulling for an investigation into this uranium deal. If the investigation occurs, and nothing comes from it, the GOP loses a talking point. Hillary doesn't even hold public office right now.
Hillary and Uranium One is a boogeyman for the right. If you take away the boogeyman, the only thing conservatives have left to look at is the shite-tastic job their representatives are doing right now. That's my guess as to why Sessions rebuked Jordan yesterday during the hearing. He knows this.
Where is the major legislation? Where is the wall? Where is ACA repeal? The GOP needs this talking point to distract from their legislative failures.
