Les's national championship was the product of pure utter luck and happened despite him. Had not a miracle occurred we would never have even been in that national championship game. As your Idol loss two easy games we should have easily won. Then lucked out because of a fluke miracle.
Not to mention, that Nick Saban had more to do with that national championship team than your Idol.

He was an average HC. Had the good fortune of inheriting a pretty darn good squad and fortune shined his way in 07, and that is okay. Got in his own way as the seasons went by and was his own undoing.
