quote:My grandmother lost her husband and two children in a car wreck before she met my grandfather. Couldn’t imagine. I never knew until I was a teenager.
I'd give a pass to a man or woman that lost his children or spouse.

My best friend killed himself, four of my friends and an elderly couple in a car crash. I was supposed to be with them and the guilt I felt at thinking "if I'd been with them this wouldn't have happened" was soul crushing agony. It took therapy and hypnosis to bring me back from the abyss and I thank God for tge professor who recognized my problem and helped guide me to seek help. My parents were unaware of how deep my depression was as I was away in school and they didn't see me.
