Ohio has some strange hunting laws. Especially for deer, just be sure you know them and are completely legal with everything you do.

Cotton clothing is not the most conducive in keeping warm. Look into a base layer, then insulation layer, followed by a jacket that is wind and rain proof. Definitely wear a warm insulated hat since body heat escapes from the head.
Merino Wool is your friend, especially in socks. If temps get below freezing, and your toes sweat wearing cotton socks, you may end up like Rulon Gardner. ....... Well, not really but you get the point.
