It’s not a first amendment right while ur at work. These players are at their Jobs . The 1st amendment doesn’t apply . If your boss tells u to stand u stand. You don’t have to but u also don’t have to keep the job .

No argument. I specifically said if your owner allows it.

And maybe it’s semantics, but the first amendment does apply if it’s work. Your boss can fire you but he can’t have you arrested.

Personally if I were an owner and I met with my players about this I’d tell them you are not going to go out there and disrespect a majority of people that pay your salary. If you would like to talk about some activism that helps the stances you want to kneel for I would love to partner with you on that off the clock in a way that brings positive publicity to you and our organization.

Then why don't the owners fire them?
