Buying a home is the biggest single investment most people will ever make yet people don’t seem to want to put much time into it. Imagine if you were going to spend a significant portion of your income on a single stock for the next thirty years... I bet you’d do some serious research first. Mike Holmes writes about that in his book - a little time and research now can save big in the future, and a small error now can be catastrophically expensive in the future.
