I don't think that's the case here. As another poster astutely pointed out, Carter is a very sincere Southern Baptist with firm moral convictions.

I believe he voted AGAINST Hillary because he knows what a disgraceful pile of shite she is as a human being.

I am not a Trump fan, but I voted AGAINST Hillary. My guy was Cruz, but he got beat in the primary. That left me with little choice in the general, but my main goal at that point was to do what little I could to prevent that despicable hag from getting in the WH.

But he had to know what Bernie was spouting was bullshite; I mean healthcare for all, open borders and a complete socialist Government??? None of these things are advocated by Baptists; I'm a devout Baptist.

That's BS. The right doesn't "wink and nod" at the far right nuts. We just don't give a sh## about them and realize they represent a tiny, neutered group politically. They're irrelevant to the point of being ignored despite how badly Progs want them to be the threat they claim they are. If anything, the right wing/conservatives have gradually moved left closer to the center over the last 30 years. The Democratic Party has moved WAY WAY left over the same time period.
