Yea coaching gap was obvious. Amite could have lined up and ran it right at them all night. Tried to be too cute. They were also out of shape and gassed in the fourth quarter. Lee is the real deal and when he had the ball in his hands he couldn't be tackled. Didn't get it to him near enough. Hell hand him the ball and let him run. Couldn't get it to him through the air.

I graduated from Amite in 97 we had one of the best high school coaches in the state at the time in Donald Currier. He won 3 state championships and his Brother won a few at Kentwood.

They didn't have the talent coming out of that school then that they do now. None from the 94 championship team got an offer from LSU although one did wind up starting for the 2000 Ravens superbowl. (Alan Ricard) and another had a great career at Tulane with a short career with the Saints (PJ franklin).

Now I see 4 and 5 stars coming out of my old high school and they can't win a championship. Yeah coaching there has been suspect since Currier quit coaching.
