I agree. Point is about the one way street part of punishment.
I take no chances. Earlier this year we had a work function and then dinner afterwords. Drinks were had and then some of us decided to go bar hopping in the quarter. It was four guys and a new young hot employee.
We ended up at a strip club and once I saw where that was headed, I left after 5 minutes and probably shouldn't have went in anyway.
I hate that I missed her getting lap dances though.

I work in the same industry I think (refinery world) and am the same way. I’ve seen women try to fit into a mostly man driven world and don’t trust it. I’ve seen some direct (I’m a contractor actually) employees say a lot of questionable things in front of women who were going along with it. I don’t trust most people I don’t know very well and try to stay clear of it at work.
