Political Science, and International Relations are woeful disciplines. They actually teach bad ideas. Ideas that you’ll have to unlearn in the real world.

Reducing the multitude of human experiences to trend lines is moronic.

If you plan on working at State, or in Politics, you’re better off studying English and History.

Agreed on Philosophy and Math though. The person who does that will get a serious education, and they’ll be a good, logical, thinker as well.

I have a Poli Sci degree, and would curious to hear you expound on that. Then again, I went to LSU, so I can imagine there would be differences in curriculum depending on your Alma mater. With all of that said, I don't recall being taught anything that I have later found to be objectively wrong. And I say that as a libertarian whose beliefs got precisely zero air time during my years of formal education
