If you are referring to the last week or so, I will try to re-iterate what I said the other day, but a little more clearly: Things he's been told and things I have been told do not add up to actions taken. No feelings are hurt, I am just letting you guys know things as they happen without getting too intimate on the details.

I want to be clear that I am not going to push Quad one way or another. I think by my post a few weeks ago, it should be crystal clear where my heart is, and my job is to let him see.I have done that. Frankly at this point my job is done regarding supporting an LSU commitment. It is up to the staff to close the deal at this point, and the process is what it is. LSU can take as much time as they want. If he ends up a Tiger thats great! If LSU's process doesn't match up with what Quad feels comfortable with relative to others schools process that is something I can't change either way.

But there will be no pushing him one way or another.

Again I am simply updating you guys as things happen.

I have not discredited one QB on this site. Ever. I did at one point say that I thought Quad would ultimately be better than anyone we have had, and I also apologized for posting that. But again, even saying that it is not trashing another QB. I think LSU has had some great QB talent, and has great QB talent now.

The only other fact that I stated regarding QB was that his rating coming out is higher than another QB that LSU recruited heavily. A QB that just passed on LSU. That isn't trashing that QB it is stating a material fact.

Haven't said that or think that. I do believe he has a VERY bright future. I have never said he is the greatest QB recruit of all time.

Speaking of Updates: Quad just dropped 23 points and grabbed 8 boards in another playoff win.

And his March Schedule is the following:

3/10: Arkansas
3/17: Vanderbilt
3/24: Duke
3/25: Elite 11 begins

Thats my last post until after Elite 11.

There is another poster, who has not posted in a little while, who seems heavily invested (he is the one that claims to know you personally). He is the one I was referring to when talking about bashing other QB recruits. Maybe he doesn't know Quad on the level you do, but his post are being lumped together with yours. Maybe wrongfully so.

This wasn't a shot at you at all. Just saying I understand where you are at in the situation. I fully get that to every kids dad, coach, uncle, brother, will view him to be better than he actually is. Thats human nature. The stronger arm than Jamarcus and better than Winston comments is what led to me making that statement (and I get that some of those things may have been told to you by others and you just brought the info....still, its a lack of reality in my opinion).

Can you please link us to this rating? If someone TOLD you he is rated higher, but it doesnt show up anywhere, they were possibly blowing smoke up your arse. Im not saying he won't be an amazing college QB at all. I really really hope he is, wherever he goes (unless he is playing LSU). Just seems like a lot of people are saying...saying..saying..and saying...but nobody is doing. If he was better than Winston with a Jamarcus arm, he would be all over recruiting sites, is all I'm saying.
