Why can't all of those things be a factor? Was true that ratings dropped in past elections cycles? If so why was 2016 different? Have 1 off disrasters like hurricanes affected ratings before?

I would guess it wouldn't so in GB other factors would be the reason. In Houston, Miami, TB, Jaxville the hurricanes probably impacted the ratings There can be multiple factors
