What Canada's offense really appears to need is a quick decision making accurate passer with decent feet. His "option" play is really the jet sweep as well as the run/shovel/quick pass option.

Basically, what he needs is Brennan + Etling's experience.

Brennan is a quick decision maker who is accurate but, he's also prone to freshman mistakes(see INTs). Etling is USUALLY a more judicious decision maker but he's fricking slow getting rid of the ball and, his accurate over the middle is questionable.

We have Canada's perfect QB on the team. Unfortunately, it's two people and they can't occupy the same body. LOL.

I think we'll be fine with Brennan if he's the guy next year. That said, I wouldn't be stunned if Narcisse pressed for the job also. There's really no way to know because we haven't seen him on a college field. But, it's possible the gap this year between him and Brennan isn't gaping.

I agree for the most part. I'm in the minority on a few things. I don't believe MB is perfect QB for this offense. He is however the heir apparent. I would be stunned if Narcisse hangs around through spring next year.

The difference in abilities may not be gaping, I believe the difference in the investment in their development is gaping.

Well, I mean perfect would probably be everything MB is plus better running and slightly bigger. But, perfect is hard to come by.

People say this but I think that would be VERY premature. QBs that "look" like the starter flame out all the fricking time. And there's literally NOTHING between Narcisse and the job other than Brennan. It's not like transferring is a guaranteed start elsewhere unless you go to Podunk U.

That's conjecture and frankly, wouldn't make any coaching sense.

Any coach with half a brain know what I already wrote above. They know you can't just assume Brennan will be successful.

There's no reason to believe that they aren't pressing Narcisse as much as Brennan. Any good coach knows competition in practice is a very healthy thing.
