there was another pass that was tipped but still hit Fleener in the hands that would have went for a first. I want to blame Fleener for the drop because Fleener drops passes, but the DB got a hand on it so I guess I'll give him only half the blame.

Good god that poor CB got destroyed. Poor guy didn't even have a chance.

I love the rededication to the o-line. I think it's going to help a ton in easing the pain after Drew leaves to help the new QB and keep the run game going. Seeing some of the bad lines around the league makes me realize how good we have it with very good players at every position.

Peat #10 ranked guard at run blocking per PFF...bad at pass blocking.

Iirc it was also on an out so it'd be extremely hard to try to stop your momentum and come back into the ball.
Should he still have caught it? Hard to say because when a pass gets tipped that close to your hands it's extremely hard to adjust.
I put it more on Brees because the pass should have been further out, but it's a tough throw to make for anyone if the DB has good position, which he did.

The INT to throwing to Mike was a garbage call so I hardly count that. The one for a TD... wtf?

Yeah the MT "int" was bs.
The other int was Brees forcing a throw but not paying attention to the DL and what he was doing. He just saw an initial rush and never checked back.
But on the other hand a slant has to be thrown at a certain point and once he cocked back the pass was committed. Couldn't pull back at that point.
