ive always asserted JH is an above average coach. he is essentially lloyd carr without the wins over rivals

the problem is ESPN brainwashed everyone into thinking JH was Meyer or Saban, so we have threads such as this one

Well, in ESPN's defense, he represents the two things that ESPN loves the most: shameless self-promotion and Michigan athletics.

I would say he's an even douchier version of Rex Ryan.

He should have won multiple championships in San Francisco, but he couldn't help himself. He had to dump Alex Smith and mortgage the future on Kaepernick, and be a complete a-hole to everybody he worked for. I mean, they started their own dumpster fire rather than have him coach the team one more minute.

They beat USC almost every year he was there. They were 35 point Dogs the first time he beat USC.
