Players were already kneeling long before moment of silence. They did not begin kneeling DURING moment of silence. Fans booed during moment of silence.

They booed because some of the players were protesting alleged police misconduct by kneeling while the Stadium was honoring a Black policeman killed by a Black career criminal. The two ex-cops in my section were clearly booing the disrespect by the players, not the fellow officer killed in the LOD.
