It just depends for me

If I am at the game with my friend, we are detaining that guy and not letting him go anywhere

If I am at the game with my wife and kid, I am not inserting myself into the situation at all

yeah, I can see both sides of that coin. There aren't many pros to inserting yourself into the situation at the point of the perp walking away, after two quick sucker punches. There were people filming so they probably assumed that there is no way he is not going to get caught.

I'm not putting myself anywhere near that situation no matter who I'm with, especially after the fact.

If he's just continually pummeling a helpless person, that's different, and I'd think at some point you almost have to intervene no matter who is with you if we're talking life/death type situation.

But that situation where he's walking away after any threat is over, I'm not going anywhere near it.
