One thing that is great about the C8 is it will come with a proper double clutch gear box. The 8 spd torque converter tranny is decent but nothing like a DCT which they will need at this level to compete. A manual would be nice but not sure if they will provide one, at least initially.


No clue, will be interesting to see. I have a friend that is very close to one of the Corvette engineers and said GM purchased a 991 Porsche TT and Nissan GTR for testing for this car.

I wonder if Porsche will get to write a note to GM like they did when GT3 Acura bought came in for service. Porshe wrote it on the engine cover "Good luck Honda from Porsche. See you on the other side."

The 911 is "the" benchmark car for darn near everyone unless you are building a hyper-car.
