Because Les Miles can't even win without doing something stupid, he follows up Byrd's brilliance with his game management futility by failing to go for two.

That is back when we had some pretty good offensive production and threw over the middle.

Great game and Les the gambler was at his best.

I have seen that catch again and again, and I am still waiting for him to drop it. It was an amazing catch, and one that helped make Les into the "Mad Hatter." I still think he was an amazing player for the Tigers, and it was truly unfortunate that he never got to play at the next level.

And if he doesn't make the catch, there's 2 seconds left to kick the field goal.

My favorite play from that season. Its crazy to look back and think just how damn good our team was and how good the sec was before saban ruined it.
