eh. being alone and doing whatever ya want is pretty damn great, tbh

i much prefer it to any form of cohabitating relationship.

I used to think this way but am starting to think different. Been dating a girl 5 years (long distance so I've had my cake and eat it too) and the idea of her moving closer and getting engaged is more appealing now than it used to be. Mostly because the single and free life is great when all your friends are single and outgoing. When they start settling down it gets old quick cause you end up going out by yourself

I am the exact opposite. I had a 5 year and 3 year relationship from the age of 19 to 28.

I am being honest when I say the first year (29) made me feel like I needed someone due to past history, but I learned how to play the new game and more importantly learned to live alone! the last two year (30,31) have been some of the best of my life.

Meet all kinds of new people and different kinds of ladies. It's been awesome.

I am sure at some point i'll want that bond and connection again, but this life is hard to let go of right now.
