I just ran across this thread and wanted to bump it for anyone considering Utah in the next few weeks, fall, or next spring.
Great write up and pictures Ragin!
When was your trip? September? Are June-Aug probably too hot for a family trip?

Thanks! Funny enough I was just telling a rep I deal with about the trip this morning. She is stuck in the annual beach trip cycle and seems to hate it.
We were there in late September so it was pretty cool and comfortable. I'd imagine it would be pretty hot in the June-August range, but I wouldn't let that stop me from doing it all over again.

Nice review. I’ll use this as a guide for my trip this year
Thanks for the solid work.

I noticed that our city pass of tickets included a tram ride up to Snowbird.
The views from Snowbird of Salt Lake are incredible. I love going there in the summer and hiking around.

Fantastic photos and summary Rajunz. My only suggestion to anyone visiting is to spend more time at Zion NP, Kolob Canyon and Springdale. My favorite spot in all of Utah.
