Yes I believe Etling is a competitor and I am not sure if we win yesterday without him but I just do not get how teams can lose QB's and plug in the next guy and they are productive. Look at Iowa State yesterday. Guy has thrown two passes in his career and then throws for 300+ yds and 3 tds against Oklahoma in Norman. We have a 5th yr senior who cant throw for 200 yds a game. I know the O-line doesnt give him much time but can we get some quick passes? 3rd and 9 we throw 30 yd passes.

maybe because he can read a D? and be accurate? The iowa state QB? stop blaming just the o line. go back and watch the game.

When you have the guy alternating in critical moments as they did the last two weeks, it kills confidence. I think Etling is looking over his shoulder. When you make a starter, he needs to know hes the guy. Doinf what lsu did in troy undermines both guys confidence.

I've never seen DE throw th at poorly.
