What a complete bullshite post. You act as though the law was enacted for the sole purpose the LGBT provision and the the one year punishment is solely for the instance when an improper pronoun is used - both based on a typically bullshite Townhall article.
The one year maximum jail penalty is for a violation of any number of the provisions of the California code governing Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly.
No one is going get a year for using the wrong pronoun.

If they decided to push it, and I bet they will try and make an example out of someone, they could make it very hard financially and personally on someone.
