There IS NO PROBLEM, not one that is beyond the pale anyway.

If you look at the overall statistics you will see two things.

1. Overall blacks are law abiding people. It's a small sunset of blacks who are committing so much crime that it skews the numbers for the entire race. I suspect that if a person looked past the numbers they would see that roughly 15% or so of whites and blacks are criminals, but the 15% of blacks simply commit MORE crimes than do the 15% of whites do and so it appears that blacks are much more likely to commit crimes, but in reality it's just that the 15% of blacks are more likely to commit crimes than the 15% of whites are.

Same thing with police shootings, if you look at the numbers , it is QUITE clear that very few people who come into contact with police are shot and or killed. It happens, but certainly not at a number that anyone could say "we have a real problem here"

It's just two examples of human nature playing out.
