Not really. Does he deserve recognition for the job he did stepping in for what was a train wreck? YES! IMO he did a really good job in keeping the team together and ending the season in a decent fashion. Last year could have easily gone to crap and looked like this year and I acknowledge Coach O had a lot to do with that.

However he never should have been considered for the full time job. Maybe if we were a D3 school. Even then it would be considered a risky hire. He hasn't learned from his mistakes at all. I hate to say it but honestly we could have gone out and hired Coach Stephens from EMCC and it would have been 100 levels better than what we have now. A Junior College coach. Let that sink in how bad a hire this was.

Even after all that, I gave him the benefit of the doubt to run it how he saw fit. Saw the worst but hoped for the best. The MSU game was inexcusable and after they exposed how soft and weak Coach O had this team at, he should have been marginalized. He gets no more benefits of the doubt from me. He's a radioactive mess of coaching idiocy and the quicker we dump him the quicker we can start the cleanup.

First Alleva though. That should have happened the day the contract came out that we guaranteed this idiot 3 yrs worth of pay (and 2m/yr over paid at that) He ain't earned shite.
