He's not top 10 in his position in the world and isn't even a top 50 overall player in the world
I disagree. But I’ll put it this way - For the past year, he has played at a world class level. I watch a ton of soccer. I know you do too. I haven’t seen 50 players in world football that have made the impact he has. I guess it’s too early to definitively say he’s a “world class” player. I guess it all depends on what you consider to be world class. Basing my opinion on what I’ve seen from such a young player in such a short amount of time, he’s no doubt in the discussion for top 10 at his position or top 50 in the world or whatever the qualifier may be. He has been absolutely incredible for club and country.

He's been thrashing CONCACAF. Doesn't make you world class.
Yes, he's been great. But in terms of wingers, Robben, Bale, Ronaldo, Neymar, Coman, Sterling, Mahrez, Reus, Sanchez, Rashford, Martial, Henrikh, Di Maria, Sane, Mertens and Dembele and are some I can name just off the top of the my head.
That's at least 16 people and some of those guys aren't even world class.
