There is no unsafe situation if there weren't a difference in speed and in that case the speeder is in the wrong. This is where I win the argument.

NO! There will ALWAYS be speed differentials regardless of the posted speed limit. Even if no one speeds, people would drive different speeds. This is EXACTLY WHY people need to obey the drive right rule. IT MINIMIZES THE SAFETY RISK OF SPEED DIFFERENTIALS.

This is where your self-importance is once again on display. You cannot "win" this argument by claiming that your lawbreaking is better than another's. You even said yourself that illegal is illegal.

I'm not claiming that the speeder is necessarily "right". I'm saying the slow left lane driver is creating the unsafe situation.
