I am not interested in being convenient to the a-hole who comes up behind me.
Again, it's not about convenience. But since you think it is, why is it ok for you to inconvenience someone else? Especially considering you are breaking the law while causing the inconvenience.

No, you need to understand that I'm right. Until you do, you are a safety hazard on the road.

I'm not going to cut the guy off to get over
The difference between cutting someone off and not getting out of the way fast enough is a matter of opinion. In both cases, you are forcing another driver to react to your actions or inaction.

I'm not going to wait behind the truck because the guy in the left lane 1/4 mile back is driving too fast. He can hit the brakes.
I see, so you feel that you can inconvenience someone else in order to avoid yourself being inconvenienced. You don't want to wait, so you make someone else wait. That's fricked up. You are not more important than anyone else. The guy "1/4 mile back" isn't making you wait for anything. He's not stopping you from passing the truck in a reasonable amount of time, but you want to stop him from doing the same. And he's the a-hole?

He is only the a-hole if he decides to get right up on my arse because he decides I'm not going fast enough for his liking. The rest of your post is irrelevant of you don't consider this point.
