While it would absolutely be the right thing to nip this experiment before it does too much damage, I just don't see LSU having the stomach for the backlash.
Maybe Alleva is sent packing this year and Orgeron next year after a new AD is in place and things don't improve.

If they finish as bad as it looks like they will then Orgeron will never be able to win the fanbase back over.
