I use this argument with my kids to demonstrate the evolving ethics argument all the time. A very valid point imho. BTW, I'm extremely queasy with eating meat as are 2 of 3 of my kids . Mrs Pimp is a cold carnivore but I'm a veggie guy now. More on personal ethical grounds than health. But every once in a while I have to slam a burger.

I'm eating way less meat but will never be able to give it up completely. I make sure it's not halal or kosher and try to get it farm to table when I eat it.

Don't care about fish or chicken I'll eat the hell out of them
