Payton and Marcus Allen are the best all-around running backs of all-time. (and most people don't realize this).
Payton could play QB and did - so did Marcus Allen (hell, he was the QB in high school) but he threw strikes in the NFL.
Allen was actually a middle of the field threat receiving...he wasn't just some dump-off guy.

Let's not forget the GOAT and Godfather Jim Brown who's also arguably the best running back of all-time
