I had to negotiate for the injection, he wanted me to go strait to surgeon. He didn't seem optimistic it would help much. I had to agree to see surgeon as well tomorrow in case it doesn't help just to get process moving. Specifically ruled out therapy for it, which I found troubling from a physiatrist.

Surgeon recommended microdisectomy, scheduled next month. Having epidural steroidv injection today to hopefully reduce the pain. Thanks for everyone's replys.
