i really wish patients couldnt read their own radiology reports

They see "disk herniation" and "stenosis" and fixate on it and once you think something is wrong with you mentally it makes symptoms seem worse

Your doctor needs to do a good physical and neuro exam and figure out if the imaging finding match your symptoms

Almost everybody over the age of 40-50 prob has a disc herniation at some level

That's why I asked him about the nerve root impingement. He won't answer, I'm assuming there is none noted on the MRI. Many people with herniated disks are not surgical. It's all about the impingement on the nerves.

I just quoted what it said. Didn't mention worsening symptoms. Same symptoms since March.
