And even if the disdain for Bama is real in this case, haven't we seen this show play out before? High profile recruit excludes Bama from early list, and ends up with the elephants.

No I think Clemson has earned a pretty large amount of respect if they are recruiting. Forget Bama and if he goes to Michigan Penn state better than playing him in the SEC.
