No, that's not the intent of my comment.
I'm saying that considering the quality of life you'd provide for your child @ $110k per year, paying child support of $1200/month seems like a good deal.
I'm question this concept that keeping your wife is cheaper than the child support.

It’s cheaper to support one household than it is to support two like he will when they split. And you get to keep your assets intact rather than divided. I think that is why it is cheaper.

If she's a teacher in Louisiana...I would just put a monitor on her phone. She will sext or bang a student eventually and you will win.
