People say this, but is this really true? How is paying $1200/month more expensive than keeping your wife and full custody of your child?

I hate to make the kid sound like a financial transaction, but I'm interested in the math some folks are purporting in here.

Because that's 1200 you remove from personal money supply and you aren't factoring in a new baby momma/wife.
