Miles just over used the run ..he was "coach schembechler" who believed that only 3 things could happen when you pass, and 2 are bad (borrowed the Darrell Royal philosophy)

Some of those coaches can't count. What are the 3 things that can happen when you pass and which 2 are bad?

This is how I see it:

Good
1. Completion for positive yardage
2. Completion for 1st down.
3. Completion for touchdown
4. Stop the clock when needed
5. Defensive Penalty

Bad:
1. Interception
2. Sack
3. Incomplete pass only on 3rd or 4th down.
4. Pick six
5. Offensive Penalty

What am I missing?

In the words of Darrell Royal,
Incompletion, Interception and Completion

Texas Coach Darrell Royal says, “There are three things that can happen on a forward pass – and two of them are bad.” He meant an incompletion and an interception, of course.
