Think about that. With all the heinous acts that go on in the Middle East, North Korea, Russia, and so on, the US is the embarrassment.

This rhetoric does him no favors in the end. You have countries in this world (where pro basketball is played mind you and some NBA players come from these countries) where certain demographics (women) can't get a license to drive a car or get an education, some races can't even be shown on movie posters, and some athletes get heckled mercilessly at soccer games because of their race. We have some racist/bigoted folks in this country, no doubt. But, in this day and time, thankfully, they are mostly marginalized to social media.
